Master of Divinity

This module provides students with the basic of research and writing skills for courses in Master of Divinity programme. It focuses on different skills that will help the student to compose an essay and develop research and critical thinking skills. This module will help students to have the academic (formal) writing skills to communicate the student’s research and ideas clearly and effectively.

 

This module will look at human nature, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and the salvation. It is especially designed to enable students to know the nature and work of Christ and its significance for our salvation. We will look at the work of the Holy Spirit in order to focus on his role in uniting us to Christ for the salvation he brings. Important biblical perspectives on that salvation will be examined. Furthermore, by making clear what believing in Jesus Christ means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, we will examine the often overlooked but important characteristics of Christian discipleship that should be taken seriously.
