Advanced Master of Divinity

This module provides practice in reading and exegesis of the New Testament in Greek. This module will help the students to translate and analyse the New Testament texts, and will introduce more advanced grammatical and syntactical concepts.

This module comprises two sections. The first examines the biblical, theological, experiential and theoretical foundations of Christian ethics. These will encompass the moral vision of the Bible, creation, covenant, conscience, morality and law, and moral reasoning. The second section addresses a series of connected practical issues in the 20^th and 21^st centuries including globalization, war and peace, poverty, consumerism, addiction, ecology, human sexuality and disability.
