Message from the Principal
1 June, 2024:
Dear ATI
family (tutors, students, alumni),
Regardless
of the fact that at times, academic qualifications do not guarantee ministry
effectiveness and faithfulness, academic credentials are still valued and
remain the standard measuring criteria used by others to assess us.
People do
recognize us by our academic achievement. Often, we see the Lord opening up
ministry opportunities and extend our scope of serving as we dedicate ourselves
to worship and serve Him by studying His words and appreciating the traditional
of His Church.
The
development of ATI is therefore important for all of us and the Church. If a
church (Diocese) takes its own doctrine and training seriously, it will be
reflected through its commitment. Academic excellence is not the opposite of
effective and spirit-filled ministry. It is a sign of dedicating our thoughts
to God and a way to honor His acts throughout our history.
To keep
our development going, we need to invest.
The last
thing we want, is for our students and graduate to feel they are second class
compared to others because of the theological college they went to.
So may I
ask us all to keep up the good work of studying and supporting the work of ATI.
There will be some measures to improve students' command of English, as a way
to help them to gain access to better and wider resources, and efforts to
encourage more contributions. Your prayers and support are very much
appreciated.
